Specialty Machinery and Equipment was formed by the President Chris L. Childers in 1992. Chris spent 18yrs. with a fortune 500 company working in maintenance and engineering. Beginning his career as a production line mechanic and transitioned through all aspects of technical manufacturing. Chris studied Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Science and Electrical Engineering at Memphis State University, Southern Technical Institute, Southern PolyTech Univ. and Georgia Institute of Technology.
